As lead guitarist of New Jersey heros Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora’s music has become a predominant soundtrack for a generation that wanted to rock. The Bon Jovi sound has proven to be classic and adaptable from the 80s to this day. Sambora's eclectic guitar style and utilization of unique equipment has always kept the band sounding true to its roots yet fresh and modern. Recently, Bon Jovi bassist (and ZT Artist) Hugh McDonald bought Richie a Lunchbox as a birthday present, and he loves it!

Oliver Leiber

One of the premier producers & songwriters in pop music, Oliver scored major success writing and producing several songs from Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" album. He has also worked prominently with The Corrs and Randy Jackson, and even played guitar in Rod Stewart's touring band - and all this is just the tip of the iceberg. His father, Jerry Leiber, is one half of the legendary Leiber/Stoller writing team that wrote MANY hit songs of the '50's, '60's and '70's.

Will Sergeant co-founded the groundbreaking Echo & The Bunnymen in Liverpool in the late 1970s. The Bunnymen's dark, powerful, and ultra-melodic sound drove the band to many hits and great respect over the years, and they remain highly influential to this day. Will was one of the first artists to use the Lunchbox amp, and he now uses a pair in stereo.

After hitting the scene with The Primevals, Gordy began working with Simple Minds in 2001, contributing to their albums Neon Lights and Cry. Since the mid 2000s, Gordy's been playing rhythm guitar with Echo & The Bunnymen. He saw Will's Lunchbox and had to have one.

An accomplished, innovative guitarist, Nels has appeared on over 150 albums spanning jazz, pop, rock, country, and experimental genres. In addition to forming the Nels Cline Trio in the late 1980s and more recently the instrumental improv jazz Nels Cline Singers, Nels has worked with countless prominent musicians including Sonic Youth guitarists Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo, jazz drummer Gregg Bendian, and was a member of alt-punk-roots rock group Geraldine Fibbers. In early 2004, Nels joined Wilco, and is a current member of the band.

Jeff made a name for himself in the late ‘80s with Uncle Tupelo, considered to be the first alternative country rock band. He then went on to form Wilco, along with most of his Uncle Tupelo bandmates. Wilco sometimes takes their alt-country sound into experimental realms, and have received two Grammy awards for their outstanding work.

Thurston Moore

Thurston is a driving force behind the massive, swirling guitar attack of Sonic Youth. He co-founded the band with Lee Ranaldo and Kim Gordon in 1981, runs the record label Ecstatic Peace!, and has a long list of collaborations outside of Sonic Youth, including work on film soundtracks such as Backbeat and Velvet Goldmine.

Lee is an accomplished guitarist, producer, and co-founder of noise-rock legends Sonic Youth, who are using their Lunchboxes backstage and for radio appearances. Lee has a lot going on outside Sonic Youth as well, notably the film-inspired improvisational group Text Of Light. Together with Thurston Moore, Ranaldo and Sonic Youth’s approach to guitar has influenced countless bands over decades.

Legendary punk producer and artist Geza X has worked with some of the most important West Coast punk bands in history. The artist and activist became a fixture of the Los Angeles punk scene in the ‘70s, and went on to produce many quintessential punk recordings such as The Germs' "Lexicon Devil," Dead Kennedys' "Holiday in Cambodia" and Black Flag's "Six Pack," along with Josie Cotton’s hit New Wave single “Johnny Are You Queer?” In 1982, he released his only solo album, the highly sought after You Goddam Kids. Geza X continues to record music today at the acclaimed Satellite Park Studio in Malibu, CA.

Lee Ranaldo

Dan Wilson is an accomplished musician, songwriter, and producer hailing from a town north of, and even colder than, Minneapolis. He spent the ‘80s and early ‘90s with the melodically epic cult favorite Trip Shakespeare, and later Semisonic, who had a major hit with the Grammy-nominated single “Closing Time”. Dan co-wrote “Not Ready To Make Nice”, with the Dixie Chicks’ in 2006, which earned him a Song Of The Year Grammy Award. He worked with Rick Rubin on his debut solo album “Free Life”. Dan is a highly sought-after collaborator, working with artists Mike Doughty, AbsentStar, Nickel Creek, Rachel Yamagata, Jewel, and Craig Wiseman.

Sonic Boom co-founded space rock pioneers Spacemen 3 in 1985, bridging roots with electronica. He then founded both Spectrum and E.A.R. (Experimental Audio Research), expanding on his talent for creating organic psychedelic soundscapes. Sonic Boom currently uses three Lunchboxes on stage for both guitars and synthesizers.

Ernest Lau

One of the first true rock bands on the1980s Hong Kong scene (think Bill Haley & His Comets hitting the stage right after the Lennon Sisters), Tai Chi still enjoys a large fan base today, over twenty years later. Ernest was one of the first major artist to try the earliest, hand-built Lunchbox amp back in 2007, and ZT is grateful to him for his generous time and input.

Thaddeus is an Associate Professor of Guitar at Boston's Berklee College of Music and author of the acclaimed instructional book "Funk/R&B Guitar: Creative Solos, Grooves and Sounds" on Hal Leonard/Berklee Press. Dallas,TX based Joey Love is one of the area's premier blues guitarists. He's a member of the Love Machine as well as the Wanda King Blues Band. Wanda is the daughter of the legendary Freddie King and is quickly climbing the ranks to becoming the next blues diva. Randy is a San Francisco based jazz guitarists who has played with so many prominent musicians we can't list them here (but check his website!). He's also a veteran of countless major Jazz festivals, and performed at the Hollywood Bowl in honor of Dizzy Gillespie's 75th birthday. Randy was the first artist to use a Lunchbox on stage, beginning with a hand-built prototype, and has been a ZT friend ever since.

Junior Brantley

Junior is a top-tier pianist and singer based in Las Vegas. He was a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds during their mid-80s peak, Roomful Of Blues during the late ‘80s/early ‘90s, and in the late ‘90s joined the Jimmie Vaughn Band. He hosts a radio show on KUNV 91.5FM in Las Vegas and often shares the stage with the likes of Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Little Richard when they come to town.

Victor has been professionally since the late 70's in every imaginable genre and situation, from classical recital halls to funky dives to top flight jazz clubs (Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Jazz Standard, The 55 Bar, The Knitting Factory) and has performed with Don Braden, George Coleman Jr. He has received numerous awards, most recently having won the 14th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest in the Jazz category. Currently playing with The Rivington Project, Project 19, Project 5, Sliced Bread and Monks Monks, and is a partner in M.E.C. (Musical Entertainment Central), an event production company.

Dale Herr

Nashville based Dale Herr is a producer, composer, arranger, music director and session guitarist, whose company, RhythmMax, Inc., produces music for TV and Film in a broad variety of styles. Since his career began in L.A. in the 1970s, Dale has worked with a long list of major artists. He is currently touring with Little Anthony & The Imperials where he has recently performed for the group's Rock ‘N' Roll Hall Of Fame induction.

Yuka Honda

Roy Rogers is one of the premier slide guitarists performing today. He is a Grammy Award winning producer from his work with John Lee Hooker, and spent many years touring as a featured member of Hooker’s band. He is also Grammy-nominated for his songwriting for the acclaimed album “R&B” on which he partnered with renowned harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo. The Lunchbox met his high standards to take a place in his arsenal of slide guitar weapons.

Yuka is a multi-instrumentalist and producer, and co-founder of the band Cibo Matto. She has worked with many prominent musicians over the years, and performs regularly with Sean Lennon. Yuka also appears on Yoko Ono’s latest album “Between My Head And The Sky” as a member of the Plastic Ono Band. She received her first Lunchbox as a gift from Nels Cline (Wilco) and was very excited to have such a small amp to gig with. As she wrote to ZT, “I am so into it...I will be playing more shows thanks to you!”

Hunter Perrin

Texas bred Hunter Perrin has taken his strong musical roots to impressive territory through many projects over the years, from film scores & solo projects to bands such as the film noir-esque Bandito Royale and the roots-y Thunderado. For the past few years Hunter has enjoyed a spot in the John Fogerty Band, performing on albums and tours. He was pointed to the Lunchbox by his guitar teacher and old family friend, Reid Farrell, and wrote us to say he loved it from day one.

John Platania

John Platania has worked with a vast array of prominent artists since the late 1960s, most notably serving as guitarist for Van Morrison since 1969. He is also a longtime collaborator of songwriter Chip Taylor, and has released two solo albums. John stopped by the ZT office to pick up his Lunchbox and used it that same night for a show at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley (the club now employs Lunchboxes in its backline).

Phoenix Benjamin

L.A.-based Phoenix Benjamin is a singer/songwriter/guitarist whose career as a solo artist is complemented by gigs at industry-sponsored mega-events (from the NME Music Awards to the pre-Super Bowl Saturday Night Spectacular). Phoenix picked up his first Lunchbox late 2009, loved it, and visited ZT during the 2010 NAMM Show. As a frequent traveler, ZT amps have made his life a lot easier, and now he’s also found a mate for his custom-made 9-string acoustic guitar in the ZT Lunchbox Acoustic.

Joe Walla

Joe Walla found ZT at the 2010 NAMM show and impressed with his enthusiasm, good nature, and of course some serious skills. The band is billed as “American Rock ‘N’ Roll”, they’re ferocious, and if you’ve got a Harley and find yourself at a party in the desert there’s a good chance Joe’s band will be there tearing it up. He’s now armed with two ZT Club amps and we think there’s a good chance he’s playing them louder than anyone.

Acclaimed NYC-based jazz guitarist Sheryl Bailey was introduced to the ZT Lunchbox by fellow ZT Artist Victor Magnani, and had to have one of her own. Constantly busy recording (with five CDs released), playing live, and teaching (she’s an Associate Professor of Guitar at Berklee College of Music), Sheryl is glad to have a great sounding amp that was made just for musicians like her – always on the move and wanting to travel with ease.

Alex Kane

Alex met ZT at the 2010 NAMM Show and uses both Lunchbox and Club amps. Alex keeps his strumming arm in shape as lead guitarist in Marky Ramone’s Blitzkreig. He is also the force behind the UK’s ultra anarchic punk band AntiProduct, and a highly entertaining interview subject.

Julian Camaz

Julian is a Tampa Bay guitarist/producer/songwriter. A former member of Latin star Chayanne's band, he also toured extensible with the off-Broadway Christian musical The Rock and The Rabbi for six years. Currently he fronts his own band and freelances all over the Tampa bay area. He was introduced to the Lunchbox while working in Las Vegas, by his friend, guitarist Bruce Rickerd (Cirque Du Soleil).
